Protection from Stalking

In Kansas or Missouri, individuals are protected from being stalked or harassed by a family member, significant other, or anyone else. Similar in process to obtaining an order for protection from abuse, an order for protection against stalking also carries with it many of the same protections in both the State of Kansas and the State of Missouri. Like in protection-from-abuse cases, Kansas and Missouri courts allow parties in certain situations to immediately receive an ex parte protection from stalking order to curb the stalking behavior. A person accused of stalking is also afforded the right to challenge the allegations before a final order is issued against him or her. If you, a family member, or a friend live in the Kansas City metro area, and need protection against stalking, contact The Flynn Law Firm for assistance.
